Gyula Castle

Gyula Castle is a medieval fortress located in the town of Gyula in southeastern Hungary. It was built in the 14th century as a defensive stronghold against Ottoman Turkish invasions, and over the centuries it was expanded and renovated several times.

The castle has a rectangular layout, with four towers at the corners and a central courtyard. The outer walls are made of brick and stone, and the interior features vaulted ceilings and Gothic-style arches.
